Rob Snow

International Speaker. Author. Comedian. Non-Profit Founder. Entrepreneur. Dad.

Rob combines a background in stand-up comedy, incredibly relatable and inspiring stories, and an ability to move audiences to deliver one of the best one-man shows in the country. Rob has performed his shows to over 100 audiences across three countries. His most relatable show is called “Minimize The Mountain” - a powerful tour de force about managing life’s biggest challenges. Through all of his stories and advice he gained from his own experiences, he weaves in comedy and brings audiences from laughs to tears to standing ovations.

As the creator of The Improvaneer Method, father to a child with Down syndrome, co-founder of a non-profit, Executive Director of the CEO Commission for Disability Employment and author of two books, Rob has even more arrows in his quiver to provide educational sessions or keynotes on his passion for the disability community, how improvisation can build skills in ways other methods can’t, and what not to say to a parent of a child with a developmental disability. If there’s a stage or even a space to speak at the event, Rob can find a funny, inspiring, educational and thought-provoking way to fill it. Rob’s shows can last anywhere from 20 minutes to a 3 hour workshop.

Other titles and topics Rob can deliver:

  • We Need A Sign - A funny, observational, and inspiring show about the commonalities and challenges raising a child with a developmental disability

  • Whose Job Is This Anyway? - Utilizing improvisation to create greater job opportunities in the disability community

  • It’s What You Said and How You Said It - A comedic but important and meaningful show about the words people should or should not use when it comes to those with disabilities

  • Stand Up Comedy - Observational, relatable, and quick humor from Rob’s many years in stand-up comedy, as a father, and a husband

  • Speak Up - A presentation or workshop on becoming, managing, and promoting a public speaker

  • Why are you even thinking about starting a business? - Getting to the heart of the entrepreneur spirit and making sure you’ve checked enough of the boxes in starting your own business.

Reviews…

Marcy Hintz, University of New Mexico Center for Development and Disability

“Rob Snow’s “Minimize the Mountain” was the message our audience of frontline workers in disability services needed to hear. It had us laughing, dabbing a few tears, tapping into new strength, and reconnected to the human story behind the work we do.”

Andy Bean, Board Member, National Down Syndrome Congress

Rob is a clever, personable comic with a little advantage. His son Henry provides a gateway into a new world, life with Down Syndrome.  His humor connects with the audience, makes you feel part of the bigger picture, and empowers you to share your story.

Maureen Hatcher, President of Akron Area SHRM

“Rob infuses comedy, sincerity, and the realities of life in his energizing presentation. He relates to the entire audience and each of our mountains. Looking for laughter and inspiration, Rob Snow brings it! ”

Jordan Davis, Student, Orange Highschool

“I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your presentation today. I thought it was hilarious, and it really left an impact on me because I have a cousin with a Mitochondrial disease who requires a little extra help with day to day life. Please keep up the great work. You really are making an impact!"

What I Should Have Said

What I Should Have Said

“Rob offers a great reminder that every life is precious, that every person is a gift, that every experience has the power to change us if we just stay open to it. his book is an eye opener, his humor is a heart opener.” - Regina Brett, NY Times Best Seller

“Yea for Rob Snow! His book validates all those thoughts we parents of children with special needs have stuffed down for so long. It’s free, it’s truthful, and it’s funny. It’s about time we had a good laugh together!” Gail Williamson, founder and director of Down syndrome in Arts and Media, Agent

This is the must have book for anyone connected to a person with developmental disabilities or for anyone you know who isn’t quite aware of the words that come out of their mouths! Rob Snow’s “What I Should Have Said” has now sold out of it’s first printing, and readers are eating it up! Rob provides an hysterical, sarcastic, and cathartic approach to responding to all those comments some people can’t help themselves from blurting out that are completely inappropriate about raising a person with a developmental disability or about those with developmental disabilities. Great for gifts, not so subtle hints to others, and to have on hand when you just need that perfect response!
